Tule kaj pomeni dobesedno:

Dear refugees, welcome to Slovenia.
Once your application for asylum is approved and you have a status of refugee (as a single applicant or a family application) your status is equal to the status of a foreigner with permanent residency permit:
Let us look at rights of refugees who has approved legal refugee status:
We take for an example a 5 member family who has accomplished the asylum procedure with positive result:
First adult
Second adult
1. child
2. child
3 child
According to the Slovenian law all your children are entitled to child allowance:
First child - 114,31 EUR per month
Second child - 125,73 EUR per month
Third child - 137,18 EUR per month
In addition: The allowance for a family with three children is 393,46 EUR per year!
After your application is approved you will ba able to ask for working permit. You will get the right to work. Before you find a job, due to law, you will get a social allowance:
First adult from the family: 270, 82 EUR per month
Second adult from the family: 70% or 50% of 270,82 EUR per month
Usually asylum seekers live in Asylum home in Ljubljana. Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia. Asylum home is located Cesta v Gorice 15, Ljubljana.
After the approval you will be able to move to private accomodation and the state services will help with financial support.
How long does it take your application will be approved? Usually it takes from several months to a year or even more! Every case is considered as individual case.
Along the mentioned rights and benefits you and your family will be able to use the following rights:
- Children will be able to go to kindergardens, schools and then to universities / Free of charge
- Basic healthcare for you and for your family provided by healthcare system
- Right to work

| Res škoda, da ne najdem slikce, ki me je vrgla iz tira par dni nazaj, na njej pa je na tleh sedeči begunski oče (nacionalnosti ne vem, no, ni bil Evropejec), v roki drži na kosu folije kos pice (?) in skrušen joče. Zraven sedi sinek (5,6,7 let, kdo bi vedel) in ga z rokco gladi po glavi. Tolaži očeta. Tko, za protiutež |
